1. Company will support the District with an online learning software program to support student achievement in English Language Arts in the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). This online learning software program, slated for September 1, 2018 to August 31, 2019, will provide the necessary supports for students to prepare for the Rhode Island Comprehensive Assessment System (RICAS).
2. Provide access to ThinkCerca school-wide license (1000+ students) at Central High School for the 2018-2019 school year. ThinkCerca provides schools with a common language for teaching literacy (specifically writing) across content areas. It teaches critical thinking through argumentative writing. This curriculum is based on disciplinary texts and discipline-specific close reading and academic writing. The theme-based text sets are differentiated for 10 levels of readiness.
3. Professional Development will include virtual training and on-site training for teachers and school administrators. Two additional days of on-site professional development will be included.
